Wilhelm Henning (1899–1955) was a Swedish painter and sculptor known for his lively street scenes and landscapes. Born in Stockholm, he studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts and later continued his training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Henning travelled widely and exhibited in Sweden, including group exhibitions organised by the Sveriges Allmänna Konstförening at Liljevalchs in Stockholm. Although he initially worked as a sculptor, he later focused primarily on painting.
He is particularly known for small-scale views of Gothenburg street life and atmospheric landscape subjects, painted with a confident, modern Scandinavian style. His work is represented in Swedish public collections, including the Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
